Hi, I'm Brooke!

I'm a PNW native that relocated to Colorado on a whim in 2021. I've been petsitting since 2014 and have always known it was my passion. For as long as I can remember, I've been the go-to pet sitter for my friends, family, and neighbors. There's nothing I love more than making sure you and your pets feel comfortable and safe.

After a long run working for financial institutions and tech start ups, I decided to chase my dream of becoming a full time animal caretaker. That's when I founded Curious Critter Care.

I'm trained in animal first aid and CPR, and my experience doesn't stop at dogs and cats; I've owned and cared for animals of all ages, shapes, and sizes from dogs and cats to fish and reptiles. My goal always is to provide a worry-free stay with the care you and your pet deserve and expect. I can tire your puppy out with proper socialization and playtime, give your senior pets their medication, and provide a soft spot for naps and bedtime. And if your pet just needs some time and space, we can do that, too!

Leaving your pets in someone else's care can be nerve-racking which is why I offer free meet-and-greets ahead of time, and will take all the time necessary to understand your pet's needs.

Frequently Asked Quesitons

Do you take multiple dogs at once?

Generally, yes I do. There will not always be additional customers' animals here during your pet's stay, but there might be! I will always let you know if this will be the case during your selected dates.

Can we do a trial stay ahead of your actual stay?

Absolutely! Particularly if your primary stay will be longer than a few nights, it can be very helpful to do a single full day of daycare or even an overnight stay ahead of the longer timeframe to feel extra secure about it being a great fit!

Do you leave the animals alone or unsupervised?

No. My husband and I both work from home, and arrange our day to day activities in a way that our customers' dogs don't have to spend any time locked up or alone. Outdoor and play time is closely supervised as well.

Are you comfortable administering medication to my pet?

I sure am! With the exception of injections, I am comfortable administering medications of nearly any type - oral, topical, or eye/ear drops. I just ask for clear, written instructions to ensure proper administration and management.
